A strand of 44+ beads. Made from Rainbow Obsidian and are black and dark green in colour. These smooth plain round beads are machine cut. They are 8mm in size with a fully drilled 1mm hole across the middle. Actual product colour may vary dependant on screen capabilities & settings.Obsidian, sometimes referred to as ‘Apache Tears’, is a volcanic glass that was named after Obsius, a Roman who discovered a similar stone and is found in Italy, Scotland, Mexico and the USA. It contains tiny bubbles of air along the layers which produce interesting effects that result in the many varieties of Obsidian. Rainbow Obsidian has an iridescent, rainbow-like sheen that is caused by inclusions of magnetite nanoparticles.
