A strand of 60+ beads. Made from Snowflake Obsidian and are black and white in colour. These frosted plain round beads are machine cut. They are 6mm in size with a fully drilled 1mm hole across the middle. Actual product colour may vary dependant on screen capabilities & settings.Snowflake Obsidian, sometimes referred to as ‘Apache Tears’, is a volcanic black glass containing white 'snowflake' crystal patterns of the mineral cristobalite, originated due to partial crystallisation of the glass. It was named after Obsius, a Roman who discovered a similar stone and is found in Italy, Scotland, Mexico and the USA. It contains tiny bubbles of air along the layers which produce interesting effects that result in the many varieties of Obsidian.
