A strand of 35+ beads. Made from Sodalite and are blue and white in colour. These smooth nugget beads are handcut. They are Approx 8x8mm-9x10mm in size with a fully drilled 1mm hole across the middle. Actual product colour may vary dependant on screen capabilities & settings.

Sodalite is named in reference to its Sodium content and is sometimes referred to as 'Poor Man's Lapis' due to its similar colour and the fact that it is much less expensive. It is typically found in Namibia, Brazil, Canada and the USA and is traditionally blue and white although it can also be found in orange and violet. In Canada, Sodalite is often referred to as 'Princess Blue' due to it being discovered there during a Royal visit. Sodalite is said to combat radiation damage by soaking up electromagnetic smog and can also help prevent insomnia.
