A strand of 75+ beads. Made from Picture Jasper and are brown and beige in colour. These smooth plain rondelle beads are machine cut. They are 5mm x 8mm in size with a fully drilled 1mm hole across the middle. Actual product colour may vary dependant on screen capabilities & settings.

Picture Jasper is a very beautiful Gemstone in that scenic landscapes can often be seen in its unusual patterns, with light and dark backgrounds. The often spectacular patterns and pictures seen in the Jasper are either due to iron oxide seeping into cracks found in sandstone or when tiny plants get trapped in the sand during the natural rock-forming process that then become fossilized. It is also formed when mud containing silica drips into gas pockets in molten lava and then becomes superheated and petrified.
