Can you tell me a little bit about Charming Beads?

Sure! We've been around the jewellery-making industry for 14 years now. We stock high quality products at low prices and our customer service is renowned amongst our peers. Hopefully this will give you the confidence to sign up for an account with us and take advantage of our amazing products and offers.


Why are your postage charges so low?

We wholeheartedly believe that companies should not be making a profit from delivery charges. The less you pay on postage the more you can grow your stash!


Most of your products are cheaper than other sellers. Why?

We buy in bulk quantities which means we can negotiate large discounts with our suppliers; we are then able to pass these savings on to you. 

We sell the same products as the larger craft shops and TV channels but at the same or better quality. Without large overheads from a physical shop or studio we can bring you quality products at much lower prices.


What is the easiest way to find the products I am looking for?

We suggest navigating through the products by using the category menu at the top. Once you are in your chosen category, you can then use the filters on the left-hand side of the page to choose colours, sizes, shapes, materials etc. 

Alternatively, you could use the search box at the top of the page on the right-hand side. You can then use the filters on the left-hand side of the home page to narrow down your choices by colours, sizes, shapes, materials etc.


I have a discount code - how/where do I enter it?

Firstly please ensure you are logged in to your account. On the Shopping Cart page you will see a link in purple text that says "Add a gift voucher or promotion code?" - please select that link and then enter your code. You should now see your basket total change as a result!


What offers do you do?

We have lots of amazing offers for you! When you sign up for your account you will receive a one-use-only £5 voucher code for any order of £30 or more. This would also entitle you to free postage since any order of £25 or over will already qualify! 

Future orders of £50 or more will receive a 10% discount.  Just add £50 of items into you shopping cart and the discount will be applied automatically.

We also have a fantastic Rewards scheme on site that will allow you to accumulate points to use against future orders.  You must create an account to start earning points. You can also earn 500 bonus points (worth £5.00) when you refer a friend and they place an order of £30 or more.  For more information please visit our About Rewards page.


How do I checkout and what payment options are there?

Fill your basket with all our gorgeous products that you desire and when you are ready to check out, click on the shopping bag icon in the top right-hand corner of the page. Then hit the green "Proceed to secure checkout button". 

If you have an account and have added an address in your account area, and you are already logged in, then your name and address details should be there to easily select.  If not, then hit login to save time. If you have yet to sign up for an account, do not worry as you can create one after you have checked out. 

Once you have completed your name and address details and selected an appropriate delivery option, click Proceed. On the payment screen, you will be able to pay with your credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.


Is shopping with you secure?

Absolutely! Our site is built on a secure server. When shopping online, always look out for the little padlock next to the address bar of your browser. You will also notice HTTPS in front of our website address. The S at the end stands for “Secure”. 

Furthermore, all our payment gateways are 100% secure. Your transaction will be processed without anyone seeing your details. We do not store any card details on our servers. Only the basic address and product information are required to process your order.


How quickly do you pack your orders and is there a cut off time?

We print our orders at 9:30 am each morning.  Once the orders are printed our warehouse staff are busy bees getting all the items picked and packed.  We are unable to make changes to the order items after 9:30am.  We can still make name and address changes up until 2pm, at which point the orders are collected by Royal Mail for prompt delivery.


The beads I usually buy are out of stock. How soon before they are back in?

Our main suppliers provide us with stock on a monthly basis so it's never that long! Please feel free to contact us and we should be able to give you a good estimate of the date that a particular item is likely to be back in stock. Why not use our "notify me when back in stock" feature on the product page? Simply pop your email address in and when stock is available you will automatically receive an email!


Do you have a physical shop and can I visit?

We are an online company only - we have no physical shop. Since we use an amazing third party to warehouse and deliver our goods to you, it is not possible to arrange a visit to them as they have super-secure premises and look after many other company's valuable stock.


I’ve forgotten my password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password then do not worry!  Just click on the Account icon at the top right of the page and then click on Reset Password.  Fill out your email address and click on Reset My Password.  You will now receive an email containing a password reset link.  Click on the link and follow the instructions to reset your password safely and securely.


How do I change my details on my account?

Log into your account by clicking on the Account icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.  (If you do not have an account, you can create one from here).  

Once logged in, you can change your basic details via the various sections within My Account. You can add multiple delivery addresses via the Address Book Link.  Be sure to save your main address to save time in future when checking out orders.

You can also see your order history and rewards points total with the My Account section.


Where is my confirmation email?

Sometimes you will find your confirmation email will have been sent to your spam or junk mail folder, please look for them there.


Are your products Lead-free, Nickle-free and Cadmium-free? (REACH compliant)?

All of our metal products (findings, chains and charms) are REACH compliant.
