A strand of 40+ beads. Made from Bloodstone and are green and red in colour. These smooth plain round beads are machine cut. They are 8mm in size with a fully drilled 1mm hole across the middle. Actual product colour may vary dependant on screen capabilities & settings.Bloodstone, also known as Heliotrope, is a variety of Jasper. It is dark green in colour with flecks of red cutting through. The flecks give the appearance of blood on a green surface, which is how it received the name Bloodstone. Bloodstone is found primarily in India, although there are also sources of it in Central Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and interestingly, the Isle of Rum in Scotland.
