A strand of 25+ beads. Made from Howlite and are white and grey in colour. These smooth oblong beads are machine cut. They are 4mm x 13mm in size with a fully drilled 1mm hole across the middle. Actual product colour may vary dependant on screen capabilities & settings.Howlite is a Borate mineral that is usually white with fine grey or black veins in a web-like pattern. Found in Canada, Howlite is named after its discoverer, Henry How, a Canadian geologist. It is quite porous and because of this quality, it can be dyed to imitate similar coloured stones such as Turquoise, Coral and Lapis Lazuli. Howlite is thought to be an aid to insomnia, especially when caused by an overactive mind and also balances Calcium levels in the body.
