At Charming Beads, we understand that jewellery makers and small businesses may need clear information about the materials and components they use.

We therefore maintain REACH compliance information for the metal findings and components we supply, based on documentation and declarations provided through our upstream supply chain.

What is REACH?

REACH is the European regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.

It includes requirements relating to substances used in products and articles, including restrictions relevant to jewellery components and requirements concerning Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs).

Our metal findings and components

Our upstream supplier has confirmed that the relevant metal findings and components supplied to Charming Beads comply with the applicable requirements of EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.

Supporting compliance documentation is retained by Charming Beads, and product-specific declarations can be obtained from our upstream supply chain where required.

Our compliance information is based on documentation provided by our suppliers. It does not represent independent laboratory testing of every individual product by Charming Beads.

For jewellery makers selling finished products

If you use Charming Beads components to make jewellery or other finished products, our REACH documentation can form part of the information you retain about the components used in your products.

Our declaration relates only to the components supplied by Charming Beads in the condition in which they are supplied. It does not constitute a declaration of conformity or certification for any finished jewellery or other product manufactured using those components.

Businesses placing finished products on the UK, EU or other markets remain responsible for ensuring that their finished products comply with the requirements applicable to them.
